Imprint

🧾 What Is a Website Imprint?

A website imprint is a legal disclosure that typically includes:

- Name and address of the website owner or company

- Contact information (email, phone number)

- Business registration details (if applicable)

- VAT ID number (for EU businesses)

- Responsible person for content (especially for media or journalistic sites)

⚖️ Why Is It Required?

Legal compliance: In places like Germany, the Telemedia Act (TMG) requires it for any site with commercial intent—even blogs with ads may qualify.

Transparency: It helps users know who they’re dealing with.

Accountability: Enables legal claims or contact in case of disputes.

🧑‍💻 Who Needs One? You likely need an imprint if your site:

- Sells products or services

- Displays ads or earns affiliate income

- Represents a company or public organization

- Publishes journalistic or editorial content

Private, non-commercial websites may be exempt, but even hobby blogs can fall under the requirement if they generate revenue.

📍 Where Should It Be Placed? It should be:

- Easily accessible from every page (usually in the footer)

- Clearly labeled as “Imprint,” “Legal Notice,” or “Impressum”

Since each of us, certified energy healers with Remote Healing Live!, runs their own business, the person actually doing the energy healing for you is the point of contact for transparency and accountability.

Halbert Karssiens, as the website initiator and owner (though we share the costs), is accountable for the content of the non-bio  and non-calendar pages of the website only - and I expect every certified energy healer on this platform to support me in that accountability - and his imprint is on the bottom of his calendar page for his customers :)
